Christian Outreach Fellowship (COF) is one of the ministries under our umbrella. COF operates out of Ghana, Africa, and currently has a workforce of 168 missionaries serving mainly in Northern Ghana among a total of 17 people groups. These missionaries have planted hundreds of churches since COF was founded in 1974. Read more about COF on their website here.
One of the ways in which TRC Ministries partners with COF is through sending audio Bibles in the native languages of many of the villages where COF operates. These audio Bibles are instrumental in bringing the living Word of God to those who don’t have access to bibles, or even the education to read a bible. With a single audio Bible, entire villages have been transformed.
In order to steward these audio Bibles well, indigenous missionaries travel from location to location, checking on the status of the audio Bible, praying with and for the locals, and providing for the physical and spiritual needs of these new believers. On one such trip, Emmanuel Anuk-Dabson (Executive Director of COF) wrote, “It has become obvious that some more audio Bibles are needed to supplement those that are still operating and some languages we haven’t received and distributed yet.”

It costs approximately $140 to send a single audio bible to Ghana, including the price of the audio bible, price for shipping, duty fees, and gas to transport it to the remote villages. To send all 250 audio Bibles listed above would cost about $35,000. TRC Ministries is dedicated to sending the Word of God to these villages in Northern Ghana, and we ask that you prayerfully consider donating what you can to make this a reality.
