Letter from Oti Salvador, founder of “La Cosecha”
Blessings to you all, brothers. We wish you well along with your families and loved ones. We greet you with much love as always, giving thanks to God for your lives and for your support of us.
We continue working in the task God has given us to do with these men who need to come out of the slavery to alcohol and drugs. Above all, to teach them the gospel and show them the love that our all powerful God gives us through Jesus Christ. We rejoice to see the powerful work of Jesus Christ in each life that comes to “La Cosecha” and that God makes us a part of this joy.
A few weeks ago a government agency brought Mario to us. No one knows his last name or his age or who his family is, as Mario is a young man with paralysis in his arms and part of his legs and also cannot speak. He also has epilepsy, his body is very deteriorated, and he depends on someone to help him bathe, eat, go to the bathroom, etc., since for him it is impossible. We ask for your prayers for Mario–for the salvation of his soul as well as for his health. The government is looking for his relatives as they don’t have more information on him. We pray for this man.
We have been working on the well at the residence. We have now put in 17 rings and thank God there is water for drinking and the work on the farm. The men continue working with the different farm animals, raising them with care as this, for many of them, is their rehabilitation. This month we bought a ram.
We want to thank God and you, brothers, for your support, wishing you, your families and all the TRC Ministries team a very Merry Christmas and blessed New Year. We continue on, giving glory to God in everything.
