BTG – 5/21/13

Dear God’s people,

We regret any inconvenience for the delay of this email. Its an honor once again to write you about the good works. We also hope all is well with you and we were inform that you had a wonderful service at the church on Sunday. Greetings from our families to all of you. Also, our dear friends sent their greetings and gratitude for the Good news. On our trip we met good people and we even met a Christian who was working with a construction company and has given us two detailed maps with all the roads that we would ever travel on,

We covered about 30% or more distance because we were meeting new friends and taking orders and finding good Christians who are willing to be part of the God’d plan. So far so good. Our plan of finding preachers at the markets to help us worked well. We wanted to know if the main reason why the preachers we met were men of God who were preaching about salvation and want to reach more people in the various regions. In the Western region we went to a market located at Debiso and met three preachers, they have agreed to help in what we are doing.

We did not discuss anything regarding one being paid and so we we want to meet men who preach on their off days and not preach and depend on the offerings that are paid to them by the market women. We are asking you to please pray about this too for us. On the other hand, we know that we are a small group but the step we have taken has given us  opportunity than any Christian group in the country, for this reason, the people we visit have been so kind to us. Even though we do not represent any denomination, yet they sometimes expect us to tell them about the doctrines we are bringing them.

Our visiting of different cultures and and ethnicity have given us so much experience of how to talk to the people so that they don’t see us as one of the denominations but men just like them who are willing to bring nothing but the Good news to them which would further be highlighted to them by the Holy Spirit. As distances are increasing and fuel prices have been hiked also, we are trying to make sure that we don’t suffer financially. We have witness numerous challenges faced by the villagers and are hoping that we can also be kind to them one way or the other. We are asking you to please collect used clothing and shoes for us to bring to the villages.

This is not part of the work and we have all done so much but from what we have all read from the James in the New Testament, we want to also let our new friends know that we thing about them them. We have in the past been buying a locally made bathroom sandals which is worn by the villagers and been bringing to the children who have  been working on the farm bare-footed.

If you can all remember, we last stopped in the western region when our car broke down, so we started our trip from Half Assini in the Western region, but before we arrived  at Half Assini, we visited some areas in the central region and these places are as follows Aboaba, Imbraim, Awisam, and Asasitrem Enyinam. We met some people and but didn’t give out a talking Bible because we haven’t yet decided if we should include this regions to the four regions and besides we are yet to come up with a strategy to make the work easy.

At Nzimtienu, we met with a group of fishermen whom we last helped pulled out their canoe when Tory and Dave were here in Ghana and they all sent their greetings.  We headed North of the region and met with our friends at Dadieso, Krokosue, Adwamadien and Nsisin. There are villages that are not on the map we have been visiting but the New detailed map will show you all and so you can get a clear picture.  We visited also Kapua, Kapro, Yeji Dogokrom and Prang and so also the villages we previously visited in the Brong Ahafo. From both Ashanti and Eastern region we went to Dukuse, villages around Kumawu and Sekyedumase and then went to Eastern region and met with friends from Ekyiemenfurom Bonkrom Kwasiadae, We visited these places on our last trip but there were so many other minor villages that were missed.

We will take off Tomorrow and this time it would me Heartwill and I. Thank you so much for praying for us on Sunday and always keeping us in your prayers, we have been protected and blessed by your prayers. God bless you all and we will write you soon.

Paul and Kwame.
