Good News of Easter Leads Men and Women to Accept Christ

Letter from Heartwill May 19, 2014

Hello God’s people,

We hope the Good Lord is watching over you all and we thank you for your prayers.

Last month’s trip was all about Easter. While Kwame and Ebenezer were showing the Jesus movie at some selected villages, Paul and I also enjoyed teaching the people about salvation as far as Easter goes. We led our dear brothers and sisters to accept Christ, and we spent time with some villagers singing Easter songs in their dialects. We skipped those villages where Ebenezer and Kwame visited.

On our most recent trip we did the usual things, and currently there are four damaged Asante talking Bibles. Two were left out in the rain, and the other two we have no idea what the causes are. These are the towns which need replacement: Seneso, Balana Kwabenakuma and Oseikrom. Kwame discussed with us the need to unite the people into one body in the regions. For fear that the people might think that we are trying to form a church, we are applying those points that we discussed with Tory and also getting the elders both Christian and non-Christian.

We have realized how the elders enjoy commanding respect and would like to be part of all gatherings. Therefore we are praying for wisdom, and we want to take this opportunity also to ask you all to pray for unity and love among the people. We also bring you greetings from all the villages. God bless you all.

Paul and Heartwill
