Our Dearest Family of Christ,

We will first of all ask you to accept our apology in delaying this email. The country is experiencing what we call “Electricity Load Shedding”, therefore, our part of the city did not get electricity for two days. We hope all of you are fit as horse and are blessed by the Father through our Lord Jesus Christ. We’d wanted to leave Accra to visit our dear family and friends in Christ living in the four regions we visit weekly. We have also receive the five talking Bibles which at one point  thought were missing,  your prayers actually helped and we thank God almighty for protecting these five talking Bibles and making it possible that our dear fellow Christians can also be blessed and are not left out but are also loved by our Lord just the way he loves us.

Greetings also from all four regions including those villages and people who have not gotten an opportunity to have their own talking Bibles but rather travel from their villages to listen together with those with the talking Bibles. We have all five talking Bibles in Ewe, Dagaare, Frafra, Nzema and Dangme and the photo album. Paul and I are trying to reach at least 50 additional villages in each region, for that matter we will be gone for eight weeks spending two weeks in each region. But in the meantime we will start by spending a week in each region for two months then we will spend eight weeks straight, we will work 5 days a week and where the region is close to Accra like Eastern and Ashanti regions we will travel back home and visit our families on saturday and leave on Sunday night.

There are over thousand villages in the three Northern regions and we are hoping things happen as planned. We have acquired a very detailed Ghanaian map from the Lands Ministry and have seen that those villages we have covered so far are just a little portion of what the map shows. Those villages we have so far covered are those villages along the main roads. There are some villages where we will have to walked through the woods to reach them on path ways. Kindly pray  for knowledge and wisdom for all of us. There is more work to do. On the part of transportation, the Scion is almost fixed, it was damaged more than we anticipated. It was an accident car, which was slightly fixed to be sold to us. I want to take this opportunity to tell you a bit about the difference in the Vin Numbers.

Prior to paying the duty, we talked to Richmond and asked him to give us the vin number in order to be able to know how much it would cost at the port. Richmond gave us the following number JTAKT604750116115, and on the day we received the car Paul compared the Vin Numbers and found out that the car has the following Vin Number JTKKT604750116995. The documents has the Vin number on the car and it is different from what Richmond gave us.

If there is any shipment to be made in the future I think we have use a different shipping company. There are numerous Ghanaian owned shipping companies in New York, which is more reliable and we have found some of them through friends who use them to ship their commodities to Ghana.

We want to also take this opportunity to request for a laptop and a scanner. I think we can buy the scanner here. We need one because we have numerous receipts we need to show you and we really need the scanner and the computer.

Again, we need your advice on what to do now about the transportation, Paul’s old car is beaten up so bad by the roads and the car we received will damage on those roads to the western regions and other parts of Brong Ahafo. The 40 talking Bibles will be here soon and we want to start our monthly trips right away. We are hoping that God makes a way for us. Our car is really tearing apart, we had problem with the alternator on our previous trip and we really need your help. We pray that this trips become easy and we will never have to worry about how strong or how far our car can take us. We cannot trust any car we have not seen before shipped.

Its Tuesday morning and we want all of you to keep us in your prayers. May God bless you all.

Paul and Kwame.
