Pastor Sathees Kumar in Sri Lanka has been working in conjunction with fellow pastors, public health officials, and local police officers to bring aid to those in quarantine due to Covid-19. “We will try to give them what they need… some will ask for medicine, baby food and milk powder for kids, gas, etc.”

“There are around 300 quarantined families in this area.“
Beginning with those who have the least, Sathees and his church have already helped 65 families, and hope to reach many more.
But more than just food and other supplies, Sathees hopes they can offer something more substantial: relationships. “We are going to build a relationship with these families over the phone… Our pastors will keep in touch with them throughout their quarantine period.”
Our brothers and sisters in Sri Lanka are faithfully serving our Lord through their acts of generosity and love. We believe that although many are suffering from the continued effects of this pandemic, God is still moving and working. We invite you to pray with us that He would continue to use the church body in Sri Lanka as His hands and feet to bring good news to those who are lost, needy, and weary. We pray that each act of service would be multiplied and bear fruit through the Holy Spirit so that many would come to know Christ as their Lord.

TRC Ministries is partnering with multiple pastors in Sri Lanka in order to bring the bible to these people in their own language through our audio bible ministry. We also see God raising up Christians who are dedicated to bringing the gospel message to their own people. We are working to train them to bring the gospel message and plant churches in their own country.
