In addition to the struggles that come with leading a church in a primarily Hindu community, Pastor Suda has been facing a challenge that has been felt across the globe: Covid-19. As everybody knows, this virus has not only disrupted our day to day lives, but has rocked and sometimes even broken our churches. From disagreements on health and safety practices, to lack of resources needed to minister on-line, churches around the world have had their share of battles with Covid-19, and Suda’s newly formed church is no exception.

In addition to the struggle of pastoring a church through the pandemic, Pastor Suda is in need of a house to rent, a church building to rent, and finances to provide for his wife and four daughters. TRC Ministries is partnering with multiple pastors in Sri Lanka in order to bring the bible to these people in their own language through our audio bible ministry. We also see God raising up Christians who are dedicated to bringing the gospel message to their own people. We are working to train them to bring the gospel message and plant churches in their own country.
