AUDIO BIBLE MONITORING REPORT, MAY 18 – 20, 2021
Emmanuel and the rest of the team (Richard and Kwame) took a trip through the Eastern region of Ghana in order to meet with fellow Christians in the villages, find out the impact of the audio bibles on their lives, and to also ascertain the needs of the villagers. From May 18th-20th, 2021, they were able to visit Okobeyeyie, Akai Falls Junction, Agordzor and Koyire, where they showed the Jesus film in the evenings.
Peter Nordzoe in Okobeyeyie was pleased to see the team. The audio bible was in good condition, and a brother called Fofo testified that through his constant listening, he can now preach the word of God effectively to his family and friends.
They also met with Mr. Amponsah and his family at Okobeyeyie. He is 86 years old now, and despite numerous health challenges, continues to organize bible studies with the youth in his neighborhood.
Two testimonies from Akai Falls Junction
Rebecca, a woman living at Akai Falls Junction, had been having serious marital issues. She was worried her marriage would soon collapse. Rebecca began listening to the audio bible consistently and applying the lessons she learned to her life and her marriage. By the grace of God, her marriage has been saved and Rebecca and her husband are now a happy, thriving couple.
Auntie Amma was well-known in her community as being hostile and aggressive. Everyone knew her to be belligerent. However, after listening to the audio bible, God’s Holy Spirit has transformed her into a loving and peaceful person, to which anyone who knows her can testify. Auntie Amma said she is grateful to the Lord for the ministry of the audio bible.
“Our brethren have been good stewards of the audio bibles.”
Only one audio bible has broken down, and another has had its memory chip mysteriously misplaced. The transforming power of God’s word is spreading like wildfire through the regions of Ghana. Due to the high demand from other outlying communities, there are requests for additional bibles in the local dialects.
